Our UV Ultraviolet Photo Booth is more of a scientific instrument. Commissioned by Nivea, our specially modified camera is able to show the effect of sun damage on skin and the effectiveness of sun cream to block damaging UV on the skin. Two photos are taken simultaneously, one colour and the other UV, printed instantly.

Introducing our SMART SUNSCREEN VISUALIZATION: The UV Ultraviolet Photo Booth is designed to detect sunscreen application, makeup removal, and skin condition with remarkable precision. This cutting-edge camera ensures your sunscreen is applied correctly by visually assessing its effectiveness. A properly applied sunscreen appears as a dark, almost tar-like shade under UV light, allowing users to see firsthand how well they’re protected.
Our innovative UV camera captures two photos simultaneously—one in full color and the other in UV. These images are processed side by side, providing an instant, powerful comparison that can be printed on the spot. We believe this is the first commercially available UV Photo Booth for hire or purchase in the UK, and possibly the world.
While UV imaging cannot predict skin cancer, it vividly reveals the potential consequences of unprotected sun exposure, making it an invaluable tool for educating consumers about skin health. By visualizing damage that is normally invisible to the naked eye, the UV Cam offers a compelling way to raise awareness about the importance of sun protection.
UV rays are categorized into UVA, UVB, and UVC. UVA rays, though the weakest, accelerate skin cell aging. UVB rays are more intense, leading to sunburns and increasing the risk of skin cancer. Fortunately, UVC rays are absorbed by the ozone layer and do not reach the earth’s surface.
Exposure to UV radiation can lead to erythema, sunburn, photodamage (including premature aging), photocarcinogenesis, eye damage, skin immune system alteration, and chemical hypersensitivity, depending on the type and amount of radiation, as well as the individual’s skin type.
